Naples. Tuesday evening, an attempted ambush occurred in Scampia, specifically on Via Cupa Perillo. A gunshot was fired from a motorcycle, fatally wounding a dog. However, according to investigators, the actual target was not the animal, but likely a man who managed to dodge the bullet.
The episode is made even more mysterious by the fact that only one shell casing was found on the ground, leading investigators to also consider the hypothesis that it was a shot fired by chance by someone intent on testing a weapon.
At the scene of the accident, as reported by Il Roma, the police officers from the Scampia police station intervened, together with their colleagues from the General Prevention Office.
The Scientific Police carried out the surveys and the images of the few cameras public and private in the area will be analyzed for any clues. Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage to property.
