Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 24-year-old from Naples for possession and dealing of narcotics.
The officers of the Scampia Police Station, during a targeted control service, noticed an individual in via Peppino Impastato who was giving something to some people in exchange for money. The latter then quickly moved away.
Shortly after, the suspect approached a disused van and took something from the wheel arch. At that point, the police intervened and stopped him, finding him in possession of a carton of hashish and 125 euros in banknotes of various denominations, proceeds of the illegal activity.
In the van's wheel well, the officers found a magnetic container containing 17 more sticks of hashish, for a total of 41 grams, as well as a package of cocaine. The man was then arrested.
