Scouting Naples It is a cultural initiative that invites the public to discover Napoli through an innovative and engaging exhibition. Part of the 2024 contemporary art program of the Municipality of Naples, the event takes place at the Arci Movie “Giorgio Mancini” Culture and Animation Center in Ponticelli.
A Visual Journey through the Streets of Naples
Conceived by the Urteatro association, the exhibition allows you to explore works created by Claudio D'Avascio, filmmaker, photographer and video artist, and Cosimo D'Auria, drone pilot and photographer. The photographs and video installations offer an innovative look at the life and places of Naples, in a direct dialogue with visitors.
Guided Tour and Happening
The event will be held on Friday, November 29 at 18:30 p.m., including a free guided tour with no reservation required. Among those present, Sandro Fucito, president of the VI Municipality of the City of Naples, along with figures from the cultural scene such as playwright Gianmaria Cervo and performer Giuseppe Di Taranto. Visitors will be able to listen to the stories of the photographs on display, accompanied by a special guide: a 3D sculpture/puppet created for the occasion. The exhibition, set in the historic seventeenth-century farmhouse, is an important cultural opportunity with free admission to discover the spirit of Naples through contemporary art.

The Scouting Napoli event seems interesting to me, but I don't know if there will be a large audience. D'Avascio's photographs are beautiful, but I don't know if the place is suitable for an exhibition of this kind. I hope it will be fun.
The exhibition that is presented in Naples is a nice way to show the life and places of the city. The photographers are very good and the works are interesting but I wonder if there will be other similar occasions in the future.
