A strong earthquake has woken up the people of Cosenza in the middle of the night. To be precise, there were two tremors that occurred after midnight and scared the citizens of the province of Cosenza.
A first shock of magnitude 4.2 was recorded at 00,54, while a second shock of magnitude 2.0 was detected at 1,16 with epicenter 4 km east of Mangone. The earthquake was felt in Cosenza city, but also in Rende and in the neighboring towns where citizens were awakened in the middle of the night and some even took to the streets.

It was a bad scare for all of us who live in Cosenza. I never expected to wake up in the middle of the night because of an earthquake, especially two in a short time. Yesterday I felt the strong tremor.
