Four men, aged between 23 and 35, were charged with unlawful possession of altered keys and lock picks.
Yesterday evening, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Company of Avellino they stopped a suspicious car, a BMW with Polish license plates, right in the center of the city. On board the vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old already known to the Police and subject to a mandatory expulsion order with a ban on entry to Avellino, there were three other men, including a 34-year-old who was the recipient of a deportation order issued by the Immigration Office of the Rome Police Headquarters.
During the check, carried out with the support of a second patrol, the soldiers found in the car several tools for burglary and a flashlight. The four, all of Georgian origin and homeless, were unable to provide plausible explanations either for the possession of the tools or for their presence in that place at that late hour.
In light of the evidence, the subjects were reported at liberty to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Avellino, while the objects found were seized.

It is strange that there are men who cannot explain why they have burglary tools in a car, especially in a city like Avellino. I hope that the authorities will clarify this situation and take appropriate measures.
