The Fairy Tale Revisited
Under the direction of Elisabetta Riccardi, “Noi Altre Cenerentole” stages a concert-show that redefines the traditional Cinderella fairy tale with new narratives focused on female empowerment. The project brought together women of different ages and backgrounds through song and dance, allowing them to share experiences and form a bond of solidarity.
An Inclusive Project
NeWMALab involved women from anti-violence centers and migrants living in Naples. The project offered a significant educational and cultural experience, leading them to explore historical places dedicated to performing arts in the city. The goal was to create a sense of belonging and cultural protagonism, promoting resilience and female strength.
The Cast Composition
The cast includes different nationalities, with 40 participants from countries such as Sri Lanka, Belarus, Poland, Somalia and others. The performance will be directed by Antonella Monetti, with choreography by Diana Magri and musical direction by Ciro Riccardi. The performance will include a multi-ethnic choir and a group of dancers, supported by a team of creatives and operators from the association Le Kassandre. The event represents not only a moment of entertainment, but also an important opportunity for dialogue on contemporary social issues related to the condition of women, promoting inclusion and solidarity through art.
