Acerra – Gun in hand, customers on the run and a robbery carried out in a few moments. It happened in a betting shop on Via Vittorio Veneto, where four young people – two of them minors – broke into the premises threatening those present with a weapon.
The alarm was raised at 15pm, when a frantic call arrived at the station Carabinieri of Acerra. The man on the phone was talking about two armed robbers dressed in black who had ordered the customers to leave.
One of the municipal cameras positioned on the street filmed the scene in real time, allowing the military to intervene immediately.
The two criminals fled aboard a white Jeep. Video surveillance immediately identified the license plate and in a few minutes the patrols closed in on the fugitives. The chase ended in Via Deledda, in the “Congo” district, where the Carabinieri stopped them without leaving them any way out.

The four young people, aged between 15 and 19, were found with 500 euros each. A 15-year-old was hiding a blank gun without the red cap, while other money was hidden in the dashboard of the car.
According to initial reports, two of them entered the premises with guns in their hands, forcing some customers to flee and others to barricade themselves in the bathrooms. Then, with the butt of their guns, they broke the glass of the counter to steal thousands of euros.
The two minors, aged 15 and 17, and the two XNUMX-year-olds were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. They were sent to prison and a first reception centre, awaiting trial.
