Naples – The State Police arrested a 21-year-old Neapolitan for personal injury and resisting a Public Official. The young man, with a police record, was also reported for driving without a license, repeated over the course of the two-year period.
The agents of the San Giovanni Police Station-Barra they were engaged in a territorial control operation in via Mastellone when they spotted a young man on a scooter. At the sight of the officers, the boy accelerated the vehicle in an attempt to avoid the control, ignoring the police's stop.
While fleeing, the 21-year-old hit one of the operators, making him fall. He then abandoned the scooter to flee on foot in the direction of Piazza Crocelle. The officers chased him and, after a struggle, managed to stop him.
During the search, the young man was found in possession of 3 bags of marijuana, which is why he was further administratively sanctioned for illicit possession of narcotics for personal use.
