The phone call from a hospital in Naples, which ended with details about the day of admission and the date of the surgery, left the family of Pratola Serra, in the province of Avellino, stunned on the other end of the line: that surgery, in fact, had been performed nine years ago, and in the same hospital: the patient in question was a one-year-old girl born with serious heart problems.
The story was reported by the regional broadcaster Primativvu. On the phone, the child's mother clarified the misunderstanding that the Neapolitan hospital had fallen into, adding, moreover, that the operation performed in 2013 by the doctors of the cardiovascular surgery department of the "Monaldi" was perfectly successful as demonstrated by the absolutely normal conditions of the child who recently turned ten.
