Trenitalia, in agreement with Campania region e Common di Napoli, will run metropolitan trains of the Line 2 beyond the usual end time of the service, so as to allow for an easier flow of spectators. Starting from 23.10pm there will be five additional trips departing from the station Napoli Campi Flegrei, four of which are in the direction Naples San Giovanni-Barra and one in direction Pozzuoli.
Only those who show a valid travel ticket to the railway staff who, in collaboration with the Polfer e Business Protection, will direct passengers to the platforms of departing subway trains.
“The train ticket, which is best purchased in advance to avoid queues or long waits at the ticket counter, can also be purchased at the Campi Flegrei ticket office which will remain open, while the Piazza Leopardi stop will be closed from 22.15pm”, underlines Trenitalia.
