Naples, she asks for alms with her minor children: reported and children taken away

At Vomero local police officers Napoli members of the Minors Protection and Social Emergencies Unit surprised a thirty-two year old Roma woman, who with 2 children minors aged 13 and 7, were carrying out begging activities between shops and the street.

The woman was intercepted in via Luca Giordano. By order of the judicial authorities, the minors were entrusted to the maternal aunt and the woman was reported for begging with the use of a minor, a crime for which she had already been reported several times in the past.

Further checks are underway to suspend parental responsibility. The provisions of the Naples Juvenile Court judge are awaited after the report from social services.
