Tight controls by the Carabinieri of the Aversa Company and in the Forestry Unit of marcianise in the Aversa countryside, aimed at preventing and combating toxic fires and environmental crimes.
Yesterday afternoon, the military carried out targeted checks at a mechanical workshop in San Marcellino, where during the checks they found, inside a room in the basement, waste special hazardous and non-hazardous materials, consisting of car parts and manufacturing waste piled up on the floor.
The Carabinieri then proceeded with the preventive seizure of the workshop and the criminal seizure of the relevant basement room. The owner, a 58-year-old from the province of Caserta, was reported in a state of freedom and will have to answer for unauthorized waste management.
