At 22.40pm, with a repeat at 17.10pm the following day, Rai5 offers viewers the traditional documentary film by director Nadia Baldi on the 2023 edition of the festival directed by Ruggero Cappuccio.
A Month of Programming in an Hour of Documentary Film
A month of programming, condensed into just under an hour, to relive the atmosphere of a multidisciplinary Festival, unique in the Italian cultural panorama and among the most important on the international scene. While waiting to announce Il Campania Teatro 2024, you will be able to retrace the most significant moments of an event that hosted Napoli and throughout the region names of absolute prestige. John Malkovich and Ingeborga Dapkunaite, but also Lydia Ziemke and Chris Salter, in addition to “our own” Antonio Latella, Moni Ovadia, Davide Iodice, Francesco Di Leva, Euridice Axen, Maddalena Crippa, Peppe Servillo, Francesco Montanari, Galatea Ranzi, Federico and Jacopo Rampin, Claudia Castellucci and many others.
A Story in Pictures of an Extraordinary Event
Produced by the Fondazione Campania dei Festival, with the contribution of the Campania Region and the Ministry of Culture, the docufilm is the story in images of 31 days full of extraordinary events, where the theater is the only Elsewhere in which the relationship between human beings connects heartbeats and breathing, eyes and eyes, gestures and gestures, dialogues and growth of ideas, in a spiritual migration that becomes an escape to fight and return. A polytheistic religion founded on only three precepts: respect, listening, freedom.
Looking Towards the 2024 Edition
In the meantime, while we wait for the issue of the Development and Cohesion Funds, which are also a source of funding for the Campania Teatro Festival, to be resolved, we continue to work tirelessly on the 2024 edition. The program is essentially ready, but to make it official, and therefore to know the dates and protagonists of the seventeenth season of the Festival, we will have to trust in the imminent solution of a problem that involves thousands of entertainment workers, impacting, in various ways, on the economy of the territory.
