The Competition Finalists
The Botteghe d'Autore Award is under the artistic direction of Ivan Rufo and enjoys the patronage of the municipality of Albanella. This year, ten finalists from different Italian provinces have been selected: Alessandra Nazzaro (Napoli), Bros Buskers (Turin), Chiara D'Auria (Potenza), Devil A (Naples), Dirlinger (Rimini), Enea (Rimini), Francesco Sbraccia (Teramo), Mancino (Naples), Massimo Donno (Lecce) and Mela Indie (Bari). These artists will compete for the prestigious award by proposing their best performances.
Tribute to Eduardo De Filippo 2024 marks not only the coming of age of the Botteghe d'Autore Award but also the fortieth anniversary of the death of Eduardo de Filippo. The event will pay homage to this great figure of Italian theater with a performance by singer-songwriter Patrizia Cirulli, who will present her album “Fantasia. Eduardo's poems in music”. This work consists of a musical transposition of ten of Eduardo's poems, a work that recalls his enormous influence on Italian culture.
Performances and Meetings
Also taking the stage will be the young local talent Giovanni Lamberti, alias Giovanni Elle, who is gaining ground in the Italian music scene. A short meeting with Duccio Pasqua will follow, who will talk about the book “Storie di straordinarie fonia. Another attraction of the event will be the performance of Ron, one of the most important and beloved Italian singer-songwriters. With a prestigious career and a very rich repertoire, Ron will perform a short acoustic set. His career includes 26 studio albums, eight participations at the Sanremo Festival (including one victory in 1996), and numerous other awards and recognitions. Ron's presence represents a moment of great importance for this year's edition.
