A fifty-year-old man, having dinner in a restaurant, was saved from suffocation thanks to the intervention of an agent from the Anti-Crime Division of the Police Headquarters of Benevento who, free from duty, was eating with family and friends and intervened by performing the Heimlich maneuver on him.

According to an initial reconstruction, the man suddenly put his hands on his neck: he couldn't send
r down a morsel that had gone down the wrong way and was preventing him from breathing. A scene that took place before the eyes of the other customers, some of whom, hitting him at the height of the shoulder blades, tried to help him expel the foreign body. All in vain, until the officer intervened.
