This is Carmine Cretella, a midfielder for the Biancoscudata team, who has been indicted by the Messina court for incidents dating back to 2020. The news, reported today by Gazzettino, casts a new shadow over the football club.
The investigation into Cretella began in 2022, when the father of a girl, then 14, filed a complaint for alleged sexual assault.

This new case comes at a delicate moment for football Padova, already in the spotlight for the Michael Liguori affair. After Liguori's first-degree conviction, the company issued an official statement declaring that it would not express judgments until the final pronouncement of justice.
