A lively, perhaps even slightly alcoholic, evening unfolded in Casoria. It was almost 8:00 PM when the Carabinieri from the local station, along with officers from the mobile radio unit, responded to an apartment in the center to break up a family dispute.
To clarify, the protagonists are five, all relatives and without criminal records. Four are brothers-in-law and there is also the wife, who is also the sister of two of them. The men are respectively 61, 66, 56 and 65 years old, while the woman is 58.
The dispute began shortly before dinner and quickly escalated into violence. At the heart of the dispute was the ownership of several demijohns of wine.
Accusations fly: “I bought them!” – “The money was mine!”. Without reaching a resolution, the discussion degenerates into violence. Before the carabinieri arrive, the four brothers-in-law fight and the woman also takes part in the brawl.

The fight over ownership of the wine demijohns
The 61-year-old grabs a knife and stabs his 2-year-old brother-in-law twice in the side. The third brother-in-law – the 56-year-old – grabs an iron bar and hits the fourth relative, the 66-year-old, in the head.
During the fight the woman was also injured, with a broken arm.
Once the military has arrived, it is time to clarify the event and collect the shards.
The injured will have 30 and 10 days. The weapons were seized while the 2 assailants were arrested. The suspects must answer for attempted murder and were transferred to prison.
