Castellammare. After a few hours of interrogation, with his lawyer present, and in front of the Castellammare Carabinieri and the magistrate of the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office, 18-year-old Paolo la Monica was transferred to Poggioreale prison.
The young man, already known to the police, is accused of attempted murder. He was caught thanks to images from the public video surveillance system and some private cameras located in the area of via Napoli where the shooting took place yesterday afternoon.
The target of the ambush was Vincenzo Savarese, a 36-year-old man with no criminal record who was hit in the leg. It was actions to Castellammare hospital where doctors removed the warhead that was lodged in his leg.
