A research conducted byORA association., in collaboration with Lollocaffe, was recently published in the international journal “Nutrients".

Study on Flavonoids

Doctor Carlo Buonerba, scientific director of the ORA ETS association, explains that the study, approved by the association's Ethics Commission, has highlighted how oral intake of the nutraceutical can significantly reduce oxidative stress levels within two weeks. This parameter is considered a risk factor for several serious diseases, including vascular, metabolic and cancer.

Buonerba stresses the importance of consulting a doctor before taking supplements. “The study, approved by the Ethics Commission of ORA ETS, has shown that citizens who orally took a nutraceutical complex based on flavonoids, natural substances present in many foods of plant origin, such as fruit, vegetables, coffee, tea and chocolate, had significantly lower levels of oxidative stress after only two weeks of use. – explains Dr. Carlo Buonerba, scientific director of the ORA ETS association –. Oxidative stress is a risk factor for serious diseases, such as vascular, metabolic and cancer. The research, published in the prestigious international journal Nutrients, is conducted by me and Professor Giuseppe Di Lorenzo. No nutraceutical can replace a correct diet. It is always best to consult with your doctor about taking a supplement, especially for a long period of time”.
