Two years ago, the State Police dismantled a neo-Nazi cell called “Order of Hagal”, operating in San Nicola La Strada, in the province of Caserta.
The investigation, started in 2019 and concluded in 2022 under the coordination of the Naples Prosecutor's Office, led to four arrests and 30 suspects.Today the first-instance sentence arrived for the four defendants, considered members of the organization. The Court of Naples issued sentences of varying lengths: two to 5 and a half years of imprisonment, one to 3 and a half years and the last to 3 years. Last March, the four had already been subjected to the preventive measure of Special Public Security Surveillance, with the obligation to stay in their respective municipalities of residence.
Investigations revealed that theOrder of Hagal It was structured as a hierarchical-pyramidal organization, with clearly defined roles and tasks. Activities included propaganda, proselytism, indoctrination and recruitment, often through social channels, in addition to operational training.
Meanwhile, the public prosecutor Claudio Orazio Onorati, who followed the proceedings, was placed under protection after receiving threats from the neo-Nazis involved. Following the intimidation, the magistrate was assigned an escort to ensure his safety.

It was a very complex and difficult case to handle, I read that the police worked hard to stop these organizations. But I wonder why these things continue to happen and if there are other similar cells.
