Less than two weeks before the start of the Sanremo Festival, important news has been announced for FantaSanremo fans: Cristina D'Avena will be the voice of the theme song for the 2025 edition of the famous fantasy game.

The theme song, inspired by the famous song “Occhi di gatto,” was titled “Occhi di FantaSanremo” and adapted for the occasion. Maestro Enrico Melozzi, conductor at the Sanremo Festival, took care of the production and arrangement, giving life to a more modern version of the classic. An interesting detail: the artists who sing part of the theme song during the Festival will receive a bonus of 10 points.

The song integrates elements of the FantaSanremo dynamics, with lyrics created to reflect the game, such as “Seven artists to choose from, 100 baudi to spend.” Cristina D’Avena expressed her enthusiasm for the project and the collaboration with the FantaSanremo Team and Maestro Melozzi, calling the experience of singing the theme song “really fun.”

“Occhi di FantaSanremo” is added to the series of official FantaSanremo anthems, succeeding “C'è un tam – tam” by Eugenio in Via Di Gioia from 2023 and “FantaSanremo (Official Anthem 2024)” by NASKA. This new theme song could already be a success, involving audiences of all ages for an edition of FantaSanremo that promises to be memorable.
