A violent episode has shaken the outskirts of Turin on New Year's Eve, when a 72-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The trigger appears to lie in the behavior of the dog of the victim, who was barking and disturbing the man.
According to the officers, before attacking the woman, who was already there with a friend, the man complained about the noise coming from the animal. The investigations reveal that in the past there had already been arguments between the elderly man and the couple because of the dog.
After the attack, the woman was immediately rescued and taken to the hospital, where she is currently hospitalized in intensive care with a reserved prognosis. The Turin Prosecutor's Office promptly requested and obtained the validation of the attacker's arrest.
