Yesterday, the State Police carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control in Frattamaggiore, in the province of Naples. The operation involved the agents of the Frattamaggiore Police Station, with the collaboration of the Campania Crime Prevention Department and the assistance of personnel from the Frattamaggiore Local Police.
227 people were identified, 30 of whom had a police record and two were reported for fraud. 107 vehicles were also checked, 7 of which were subject to administrative seizure.
During the service, 14 violations of the Highway Code were contested for lack of insurance coverage, lack of periodic inspection, failure to comply with the stop, driving without a license, driving without a protective helmet and driving a vehicle already subject to seizure. Fines were issued for a total of approximately 17.000 euros.
Finally, 15 people under house arrest were checked.
The territorial control operation aimed to prevent and combat crime, as well as to ensure road safety.
