Naples. Tragedy avoided this morning thanks to the prompt intervention of a 118 crew that saved a Carabinieri marshal in cardiac arrest.
The Nessuno Tocchi Ippocrate association reports it on its social media: “At 8 this morning a call came in to 118 for a 48-year-old marshal from the Pastrengo barracks in Naples in cardiac arrest. The 118 station in Piazza del Gesù voon the target and immediately begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The patient regains rhythm and breathing and is transported to the hospital's red code Old Pellegrini.
After a while the good news arrives: the Marshal is out of danger. The angels are called: Rosy Barbato (nurse) and Giuseppe Giallucci (driver rescuer)”.
