Tragedy in the woods of Vicoforte, in the province of Cuneo, where a hunter was killed by a wild boar during a hunting trip.

The victim, Giuseppe Cappellino, a former municipal employee of Mondovì, was 74 years old. The man was attacked by the animal near the locality Le Acque di Vicoforte.
His batting companions raised the alarm after finding him on the ground, seriously injured in one leg.
The Carabinieri and 118 medical personnel intervened on site, but despite the help, Cappellino died due to his deep wounds.
There is an emergency in the area boars with the concern and alarm of the inhabitants.
