On Wednesday 11 December at 18.30:XNUMX pm, the Teatro Karol in Castellammare di Stabia will be the stage for a significant cultural event as part of the PLATEALMENTE dal libro alla scena festival.
Organized by Casa del Contemporaneo, the meeting will see the director Franco Cutolo present his work "Surreal Naples. Images and anecdotes of Neapolitan daily life”, published by Edizioni Mea. The meeting will be moderated by Pierluigi Fiorenza.A journey into the Napoli surreal
Cutolo's book offers a perspective on the surreal-metaphysical dimension of Naples, revealed through stories and images collected in thirty years of research. The work, with a preface by Alessandro Siani, includes anecdotes such as the "virgin corpse", the hospital of the dolls, and the "Christ among the thieves" of Forcella.

Admission to the event will be free until all seats are taken. For the occasion, there will be a book sales point managed by Mondadori Bookstore. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the SPAZIO ARTE in the foyer of the theater, with an installation curated by the Associazione Stabiese dell'Arte e del Presepe. The scenography, by Antonio De Martino and inspired by the Maestro from Stabia Umberto Cesino, will be accessible during the events and during the opening hours of the box office. The evening will have the support of sponsors such as Hotel Stabia and Taverna Mafalda, as a tribute to Neapolitan culture.

The event looks very interesting and promising, but I don't know if I will be able to go. Naples is a city rich in history and cultures, so I hope many people will attend this event to appreciate its beauty.
