The Return of Antonietta De Lillo
“L’occhio della gallina” is presented as a self-portrait of the director, who found herself on the margins of the film industry due to legal issues related to the distribution of her successful film. Through a mix of interviews and archive materials, the documentary reveals De Lillo’s artistic and personal journey, celebrating the value of cinema as a cultural and political space. The screening will also feature Daniele Sepe, composer of the film’s music, and Elisabetta Giannini, editor. The discussion will be moderated by Gina Annunziata and Antonio Borrelli.
Future Projections Program
“AstraDoc” will continue with a calendar full of events until April. Among the previews scheduled, we highlight “L'eco dei fiori sommersi” by Rosa Maietta and the international evening dedicated to Palestine with “From Ground Zero”, a collective film shot in Gaza. The events will be enriched by the presence of the authors and debates in the room. The return of directors such as Antonio Rezza and Flavia Mastrella will give a special touch to one of the evenings. The screenings will be held at the Academy Astra cinema, with tickets available at a reduced price for Arci members.
