Acerra – Culpable homicide is the crime contested by the Nola prosecutors father of Giulia, the 9 month old baby girl mauled by pitbull at home on the night between Saturday and Sunday in Acerra.
The father, who, like the little girl's mother, is under 30, had been interviewed several times by investigators, providing different versions of what happened, after the little girl had arrived at the emergency room of the Villa dei Fiori clinic lifeless, with injuries to her face and skull.
The young man had first indicated a stray dog as responsible for an attack on him and his daughter, then that he had found the little girl in bed with serious injuries, covered in blood, after falling asleep.
The little girl was in bed with her father. The man is therefore under investigation, but the act is due in view of the autopsy ordered by the investigators. The father is also accused of failure to guard and supervise the animal.
