An extraordinary journey from the streets of Naples to the dunes of the Saudi desert. The adventure of the young Neapolitan mechanics and videomakers who will take part in the legendary Dakar 2025 thanks to the project has begun “NapoliDakar – A Road to Employment”. The initiative, promoted by Another Naples, Alberto and Franca Riva Foundation, Lipani Law Firm, and supported by partner companies such as Sara Insurance, Anther/Gmp, CEMB, Affinita Foundation, Mazzocco srl e Upside Production, combines professional training and growth opportunities for young people in the area.

Two young mechanics, trained by School of Doing, will follow the preparation and management of the team's Mitsubishi Pajero R TEAM, engaged in the competition. Alongside them, two video makers from Audiovisual Naples Hub will document the feat in an exclusive report.
Among the protagonists, Gaetano Avella, 21 years old, who will join Emmanuel Bonaurio in the technical management of the vehicle. "It is exciting to see how these guys are transforming their future with commitment and determination," said Antonio Riva, president of the Riva Foundation.
Preparation and race in the heart of the desert
We left on December 30th for Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia, the young technicians are working to fine-tune the vehicle for the challenge. After the technical and administrative checks, the prologue of the Dakar Classic will be held on January 3, while the official start is scheduled for January 4. The race, which will end on January 17, is considered one of the most challenging motorsport competitions in the world.
