Naples – Yesterday morning, the neighborhood Vomero It was the scene of a large-scale control operation coordinated by the Naples Police Headquarters.
The State Police officers, supported by the Local Police personnel, combed through several streets in the area, including via Fiore, via Mosca, via Celebrano, via Conca, via Abate, via Vittorini, via Caiazzo, via Libroia, via Caimano, as well as Piazza degli Artisti and Largo Celebrano.
The intervention, carried out in particular by the men of the Vomero Police Station, also saw specific attention paid to two garages in the area.
The owners of these facilities were fined for a series of irregularities: illegal occupation of public land, installation of unauthorized advertising and illegal management of a vehicle storage business, with related services offered without the necessary authorizations.
There was no shortage of checks on compliance with the Highway Code.
During the operation, the officers reported 115 violations, issuing fines for a total amount of approximately 9.000 euros. A balance that testifies to the intensity of the controls and the commitment of the police forces in ensuring order and legality in one of the liveliest neighborhoods of the city.

The control operation in Vomero was important but there are many things that are not clear. Why were only some streets checked and not all? There should have been more checks in the entire neighborhood.
