Naples – A 60-year-old man was arrested by the State Police yesterday afternoon on the Tangenziale di NapoliThe subject, originally from the Campania capital, is accused of burglary and has also been reported for the unjustified possession of altered keys and lock picks.
The arrest was made during a road check carried out by officers from the Fuorigrotta Highway Police Subsection. After stopping the vehicle, the officers found two trolleys containing numerous gold jewels, as well as burglary tools.
The investigations then allowed to ascertain that the stolen material came from a theft that had occurred about two hours earlier in an apartment in the province of Potenza. The man was immediately arrested and placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
