The boss Michele Onorato, known as o' pimuntese, a top man in the Stabia Camorra, is very ill and his health conditions have led to the postponement of the trial against him and nine other affiliates of the Moscarella clan.
The trial with abbreviated procedure set before the ninth investigating judge's office of the Court of Naples (Lucia De Micco) has been postponed "due to legitimate impediment" to December 19th when the hearing will be held by the prosecutor of the Naples DDA, Giuseppe Cimmarota.
The absence of the boss caused a stir and even concern, while all the other defendants, including his son Silverio Onorato, were present via video conference from prisons all over Italy where they are being held.
They are all accused of extortion against numerous merchants and entrepreneurs in the area north of Castellammare which borders Pompei and Santa Maria la Carità.
Besides Michael Honored and his son Silverio on trial are his wife Carmela Zurlo, his daughter Maria Onorato (who is under house arrest), Salvatore Scotognella, Pasquale Palma, Renato Avitabile, Luciano Polito, Giuseppina Concilio and Michele Santarpia.
The defense team includes lawyers Gennaro De Gennaro who defends three members of the Onorato family and then Giuliano Sorrentino, Michele Torrente, Olga Coda, Renato D'Antuono and Michele Morelli.

Let's hope that justice takes its course, even if the legitimate impediment of the boss Michele Onorato is worrying.
We hope this situation works out for the best for everyone involved.
