Neri Marcorè in “From Gaber to Faber” debuts at the Campania Teatro Festival
Neri Marcorè brings to the stage “Da Gaber a Faber”, a heartfelt tribute to the icons of Italian song, Giorgio Gaber and Fabrizio De Andrè. The show promises to be a memorable event at the Campania Teatro Festival, with the national premiere scheduled for November 1st at 18 pm at the Teatro Mercadante in Naples. The anticipation for the event is palpable, with tickets already sold out.
Monologues, music and poetry to reflect on the present
In “From Gaber to Faber,” Marcorè takes the audience on a journey through unforgettable songs, cutting monologues, and musical poems that continue to resonate with pertinent truths in the present time. With deep respect and passion, Marcorè questions what thoughts Gaber and Faber might have had about current issues, including confrontation and the freedom to love. The evening will be enriched by the presence of a band composed of six talented musicians, who will accompany Marcorè in the homage to two giants of Italian music.
A Festival supported and carefully organized
The Campania Teatro Festival, directed by Ruggero Cappuccio and chaired by Alessandro Barbano, is made possible thanks to the support of the Campania Region and the Ministry of Culture. Part of the Italia Festival network and the European Festivals Association (EFA), the Festival stands out for its multidisciplinary programming and high artistic quality. “Da Gaber a Faber” is the result of a productive collaboration with Eventi SCRL and Chi è di Scena, confirming the Festival’s ability to stage culturally relevant shows. With a Teatro Mercadante that promises to be sold out, spectators prepare to live an intense artistic experience, celebrating the music and words of Gaber and De Andrè.
