Article Key Points
Auteur cinema in programming
On Saturday 18 January, at 11 am, the theatre will host the second appointment with auteur cinema, screening the animated film “THE NOSE or the conspiracy of nonconformists”. This film, which received awards at the European Film Awards and the Kinotavr Film Festival in 2020, tells of nonconformist currents in the Stalinist era through a kaleidoscope of animated styles. Shostakovich's music accompanies this tribute to the pioneers of art and science, courageous innovators who challenged the Soviet regime.
Theatrical show for the little ones
On Sunday 19 January, again at 11 am, the programme continues with the theatrical show “ALICE IN WONDERLAND” by Giulio Settimo, produced by La Contrada Teatro Stabile di Trieste. This puppet theatre show, suitable for children aged 3 and up, combines puppets and live animation to tell the story of Alice, a little girl immersed in her imagination. The narration reworks the original fairy tale by mixing creativity and theatrical interpretations, inviting the audience to reevaluate the world of fantasy.
This program is part of an initiative coordinated by Casa del Contemporaneo/Le Nuvole, I Teatrini and Sound Project, in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples and the management of the Mostra d'Oltremare.
Tickets, costing 9 euros for children aged 3 and over, are also available in the FAMILY CARD format with options of 5 or 10 admissions, subject to reservation. The entrance to the theater is from Viale Usodimare or Via Terracina, the latter recommended for Quick Parking parking.
