The police chief of Udine, Alfredo D'Agostino, has issued 38 Daspo for the riots and clashes that occurred last May at the end of Udinese-Napoli, the race that delivered the third title to the Neapolitan team. This morning the overall report of the investigators' activity was made public.
Sixteen prohibition measures were adopted against members of the local fans, responsible for climbing over, pitch invasions, possession of objects capable of offending and fights. Another 22 Daspos were issued to Napoli fans, for possession and throwing of dangerous material, climbing over, invasions and fights.
The measures adopted range from a year and a half ban to 10 years and, in the most serious cases, were accompanied by the obligation to report to the police station during their team's football matches: these are 4 Udinese fans and 3 Napoli fans. The visiting fan who had managed to illegally enter the players' locker room at the end of the match (taking part in the celebrations for the Tricolore), taking advantage of the confusion in the middle of the pitch, was also identified and given a Daspo.
A further 12 cases are still under investigation and involve members of both fan groups.
