Starting January 31, the Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte, in collaboration with the Polo delle Arti Caselli Palizzi, opens an exhibition by artist Gaia Fugazza titled "Thirst." The exhibition highlights an artistic approach that reflects on the body's pervasive intelligence, using marine and atmospheric themes. Curated by Valter Luca De Bartolomeis and Sara Dolfi Agostini, it includes contributions by students from the Polo delle Arti.
### A Creative Artistic Residency
During her residency at the Istituto ad Indirizzo Raro “Giovanni Caselli” inside the Capodimonte park, Gaia Fugazza explored the use of “third-fire” porcelain. The artist combined this material with elements such as glass and squid bones, creating brightly colored works that challenge traditional artistic conventions.

### Interactive Performance
The exhibition also includes the performance “Acque dentro”, scheduled for 2025, which invites the public to a direct interaction with art. The participation of music and dance students enriches the event, while porcelain elements modeled in the shape of octopus beaks offer a multisensory experience. Fugazza’s works stimulate a reflection on the relationship between man and nature, contesting the image-based society and suggesting an inclusive dialogue that embraces human, animal and plant realities.
