Late yesterday afternoon, an episode of aggression occurred inside the hospital Cardarelli of Naples: a security guard, on duty at building H, was attacked by some operators of a private ambulance.
The information was communicated in an official note from the hospital. From the testimonies collected, it emerges that the assailants threatened the guard to disarm him and shoot.
Fortunately, the timely intervention of an off-duty police officer, along with a patrol from the hospital's internal security, prevented the situation from escalating further.

The attack was immediately reported to the police, with the report being accompanied by details of the attackers and images taken from the internal video surveillance systems. In response to this incident, the Hospital Authority has strengthened its enforcement measures against those private ambulance operators who illegally place advertising cards inside the hospital complex, as clarified in the official note.
