The Milan State Police arrested four young Egyptians, two 20-year-olds, a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old, accused of committing a multi-aggravated robbery against three Spanish boys last February 22 in Viale Romagna. One of the 20-year-olds is also under investigation for aggravated personal injury and possession of a weapon.

During the night of February 22, the officers intervened in Viale Romagna 47, where a robbery with stabbing was in progress. The victims, after an evening at the disco, were on board the bus of line 90. Through the vision of the security cameras and the analysis of social media, the investigators reconstructed how the four suspects, after boarding the bus, took advantage of the stop to surround the victims and take control of the main exit door.

The thieves first robbed a young man, then robbed a second boy. When a friend intervened to defend the victims, one of the attackers hit him with a knife, wounding him on the right side. After the attack, the robbers disappeared, while the injured man was transported with a yellow code to the Fatebenefratelli Hospital, where he was discharged with a 10-day prognosis.
Investigations and arrests
On February 27, the Flying Squad started an operation to identify the suspects. In Piazzale Loreto, the person responsible for the injuries was tracked down, found in possession of a switchblade. The other three suspects were subsequently stopped in Via Oropa and Viale Monza. The latter have various precedents and problems related to the regularity of their stay. The four were accompanied to the San Vittore prison.
