Naples Weather Forecast: Sunday characterized by stable weather over much of Campania.
The climate will remain generally spring-like – meteorologists observe – despite the influx of colder air towards the Po Valley and the eastern sector of the peninsula; strong Mistral winds easing on the major islands and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
On Monday evening an Atlantic disturbance arriving from France will reach the North-West bringing some rain especially during the following night; on Tuesday the disturbance system will be active mostly on the North-East, on the central western regions and between the afternoon and evening also on the lower Tyrrhenian Sea between Campania and Calabria in a still mild climate context.
Today therefore the weather will be mainly sunny in the North and in Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, Campania and Sardinia, with the exception of scattered clouds at the beginning of the day in the northern Alps and in Emilia Romagna.
In the rest of the country scattered cloudiness, even compact along the Adriatic and the lower Tyrrhenian, but easing in the second part of the day, associated with some showers or isolated thunderstorms mainly in the south of Calabria and in Messina.
In the morning local rains also on Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia and Basilicata with risk of isolated thunderstorms; in the afternoon brief showers or isolated thunderstorms on lower Lazio. In the evening widespread clearings also in the South. Maximum temperatures slightly decreasing in the North and in the Adriatic regions, in Calabria, in the north of Sicily and Sardinia.
No significant changes in the rest of the country. Initially strong Mistral winds on the major islands, but gradually easing during the day; in the South, weak to moderate northerly winds; in the morning, moderate winds from the north-east on the central Adriatic. Seas: calm or slightly rough Ligurian Sea, upper Adriatic, upper Tyrrhenian. Rough in the other basins, up to very rough in the Sardinian Sea, Sicily Channel, upper Ionian.
Monday morning will be mostly sunny, especially in the central-southern regions where clear skies or at most slightly cloudy skies will prevail due to the passage of thin clouds; increasing clouds in the north-west and sometimes dense clouds in the north-east.
During the afternoon further increase in cloudiness in the North-West with a sky up to cloudy and some drizzle arriving in Liguria; in the North-East and in the Center only partially sunny weather due to the passage of medium-high clouds; clear or partly cloudy sky in the South and major Islands.
Scattered rains from the evening in the North-West regions, extending to the North-East and North-West Tuscany during the night; locally intense phenomena during the night with risk of thunderstorms in Liguria. Snow in the Alps above 1.700-2.000 meters. Minimum temperatures generally decreasing.
