A video showing a group of minors playing football with a heavy stone bollard inside the pedestrian area of Via Toledo is causing outrage on the web.

All this with a sports radio commentary in the background and the inevitable middle finger in favor of the camera. It is not clear whether it was the protagonists of the video themselves who removed it from the sidewalk or whether the piece of street furniture was hit by a vehicle.

The images were reported to the member of the Green Left Alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli.

“More and more often we find ourselves faced with unsustainable forms of vandalism, such as that shown in the video we received, with very young people being the protagonists of reckless, uncivilized, wicked and irresponsible actions, for a few more likes in the videos they themselves post.

A few days ago we raised the alarm about vandalism with the kids who were defacing the statue of Padre Pio in Baiano; today comes this other contribution. The families of these very young people are not free from responsibility and should not feel that way.

It is intolerable that their parental incapacity has repercussions on the community that must also provide for the repair of the damage. I hope that the protagonists of this video are identified and their families are forced to compensate for the damage caused”. This is Borrelli's harsh comment.
