New strong earthquake in Pozzuoli clearly felt by the population also in many areas of Naples and in fact the Vesuvius Observatory has communicated the occurrence of a seismic event of magnitude 2,7±0,3 located near Via Napoli.
The earthquake occurred at 17:58 local time (UTC 16:58), at a depth of 0.1 km. The event may have been accompanied by a roar felt by residents in the area near the epicenter.
Many comments on social media from people reporting having felt the tremor. From the beginning of the year to today, there have been 154 tremors recorded by the Naples room of the INGV in the Campi Flegrei, most of which were of very low magnitude.
In the same area yesterday three cases were recorded shock, the largest of which was of magnitude 3.0.
