The Nipaaf soldiers of the Carabinieri Forestale Group of Naples, together with those from the Forestry station, intervened in Agnano, in the Monte Spina area, for a forest fire which several teams of Fire Brigade intervened to put out, as well as a regional helicopter.

The fire affected an area of ​​about 3 hectares of uncultivated land - brambles and reeds - on the perimeter of the forest. The land was owned by a 60-year-old local man who was charged with an administrative fine for failure to maintain the perimeter protection strip of the forest.

Regional Regulation no. 3/2017, regarding the protection and management of the regional forest heritage, in fact provides for the obligation of owners of woods and/or surrounding areas to control herbaceous and shrubby vegetation in order to prevent the phenomenon of forest fires.
