Franca Troisi, co-founder of the Centrodonna association of Avellino, was celebrated for her commitment and passion, cultivating the cultural and cinematographic scene of Avellino for over thirty years through the “Visioni” festival. Maria Vittoria Pellecchia, artistic director of the festival, described Troisi as a fundamental figure in her personal development, praising the passion and critical drive that characterized her participation in cinematographic debates.

An upcoming program for the Laceno d'Oro International Film Festival

The new edition of the festival, which will be held from December 1 to 8, promises an intense program of screenings, meetings and events. Although Franca Troisi will not be physically present, her spirit and her contribution to cinema will continue to resonate among spectators.

The “Franca Troisi” Audience Award will be assigned by the Laceno d'Oro Pop Jury, which will be responsible for selecting the awards for feature films and documentaries in the “Laceno d'Oro 49” section and for “Spazio Campania”, dedicated to films set or produced in the region.
