Volla, 34-year-old locked in closet by partner: 30-year-old arrested for mistreatment

Volla – Another case of domestic violence in the Neapolitan area. Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco company they intervened in a house in Volla after the call to 112 of the same victim, a 34 year old woman, who reported the attack suffered by her partner.

According to the military's reconstruction, the man, a 30 year old already known to the police, he would have first hit the woman with two slaps, then lock her up by force in a closet, locking the door. "He must learn his lesson.", he reportedly said, refusing to release her.

"He must learn his lesson," he said.

The victim, however, had his cell phone with him and promptly dialed the emergency number. When the police arrived, the closet door was unlocked and the man was arrested for mistreatment in the family and injuries.

The woman was transported to theMaresca hospital, where doctors found them blunt trauma to the orbit and mastoid region, injuries to the lumbosacral area, and a reactive anxious state.

From the checks carried out, no cases have been found previous complaints by the victim. The incident refocuses attention on the scourge of domestic violence and the need to promptly report dangerous situations.

It is really sad that these days there are so many cases of domestic violence, especially in a city like Naples. The woman deserves to be protected and not suffer such brutal treatments from her partners.
