During the night, in Pastorano, in via Marchese, two drug dealers attempted to get rid of two blocks of hashish by throwing them out of the window of their car and trying to escape. However, the Carabinieri of the Vitulazio Station, during a check of the territory, tracked them down and stopped them.
The two, a 24-year-old boy and a 16-year-old minor, both from the province of Caserta, were traveling in a rented Peugeot 2008. After their arrest, they were subjected to a personal and vehicle search, during which the officers found 400 euros in banknotes of various denominations hidden in a compartment in the passenger door.
The recovered drugs, three blocks weighing approximately 250 grams, and the cash, considered the proceeds of the illegal activity, were seized. The two young men, taken to the barracks, were arrested and, after the formal procedures, transferred respectively to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison and to the first reception center of Napoli Colli Aminei. Both are accused of possession for the purpose of dealing in narcotics and resisting a public official.
