FOR THE CAPUA MUSEUM SITE NEW RECORD OF VISITORS IN 2023.
On Friday, January 12, at 18,30:XNUMX p.m., at the Museo Provinciale Campano in Capua, there will be a new screening of the documentary film on the Volturno River “Le vie dell'acqua”, produced by the Province of Caserta in collaboration with the Department of Political Sciences of the Vanvitelli University, and edited by the Caserta-born screenwriter and author Barbara Rossi Prudente.
After the preview last December at the Provincial Auditorium of Caserta, following the numerous requests, the documentary film that tells the story of the longest river in southern Italy in a new and original way, through anecdotes, curiosities and memories handed down over time, will be re-proposed (with free admission and until all one hundred seats are filled). There will also be a moment of dialogue with the director Barbara Rossi Prudente, curated by Francesco Massarelli.
“Thanks to the Museo Campano and its director Gianni Solino – comments the President of the Province Giorgio Magliocca – for organizing this new screening, also encouraged by many people who were unable to attend last month's preview. A beautiful documentary that tells the story of our Volturno River in a different and original way through its journey to the sea. And I am happy that the event was organized at the Museo Campano, a treasure chest of treasures and beauties, the pride of the Caserta area and the entire region that in the year just ended recorded a new record of attendance with almost 33 thousand visitors. A success that is the result of planning and design – continues Magliocca – that we have implemented in recent years for the enhancement and promotion of the Provincial Museum of Campania in Capua. I am thinking of the School Project thanks to which thousands of Caserta students were offered free return bus transport service, museum entry and a guided tour. And Capua Innova, a new interactive digital path that accompanies visitors to the exhibition halls in a totally innovative and engaging experience. We invest in culture, we are proud of it”.
