The Carabinieri of Pozzuoli and Quarto have intensified checks in collaboration with the Carabinieri dog unit of Sarno, covering a vast area of the territory.
The intervention of the police led to the complaint of a 28 year old woman with no criminal record, owner of a supermarket located in via De Curtis in Pozzuoli, for aggravated theft of electricity through an illegal connection to the public grid.
During the operations, an illegal parking attendant was also identified, who was removed from the area as established by the Prefect's order. The regulations in force regarding road safety were at the center of the inspections, with particular implications.
One of the noteworthy incidents concerns the report of a 40-year-old man, caught driving without ever having obtained a license and a repeat offender within two years. The Carabinieri carried out numerous searches and checked 18 vehicles during the operations.
