Last night, the State Police intensified checks to combat the phenomenon of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The control activity was carried out by the Highway Police Detachment of Nola, with the support of doctors from the Health Office, staff from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office and agents from the Local Police of Napoli.

• 78 people checked.
  The state of drunkenness and/or drug-induced alteration of 58 drivers was verified.
  2 people reported for positive saliva test for narcotics.
  2 people fined for drunk driving.
  45 vehicles checked.
  5 violations of the Highway Code were raised.
  4 driving licenses revoked.
  25 points deducted.
