Yesterday afternoon, the officers of the Afragola Police Station arrested a 45-year-old man of Georgian origin, already known to the police for previous convictions, even specific ones, for aggravated theft.
The report came from the State Police Operations Room , which dispatched a patrol to Via Enrico Berlinguer, near a well-known shopping center. There, security personnel had already detained the suspect outside the parking lot. The man had been observed stealing two packs of cutlery, worth a total of €120, from the store.
During the search, the police found an aluminum shielded bag, an anti-theft device and a metal object, used to deactivate the security devices applied to the merchandise.
The 45-year-old was then arrested and taken to the police station, where he will have to answer to the charge of aggravated theft.
