Yesterday afternoon, the officers of the Afragola Police Station arrested a 45-year-old man of Georgian origin, already known to the police for previous convictions, even specific ones, for aggravated theft.
The report came from the Operations Room of the State Police, who sent a patrol to Via Enrico Berlinguer, near a well-known shopping center. Here, security personnel had already blocked the suspect outside the parking lot. The man had been seen stealing two packs of cutlery, with a total value of 120 euros, from the store.
During the search, the police found an aluminum shielded bag, an anti-theft device and a metal object, used to deactivate the security devices applied to the merchandise.
The 45-year-old was then arrested and taken to the police station, where he will have to answer to the charge of aggravated theft.
