Alex Pollaro, a recent informer , outlined the criminal structure of the Nobile clan and explained how the Camorra group, which had taken control of illicit activities not only in the Salicelle headquarters but also in much of the city of Afragola and some neighboring towns, operated.

The first report filed in the investigation is dated June 3, 2026. The collaborator explains that he was recruited not to deal drugs, but specifically for his violent nature. His job was to beat up and punish those who didn't pay protection money, those who didn't pay drug debts, or pushers who sold drugs "under the counter" without obtaining supplies from the clan. For this task, he received a fixed "salary" of €2.000-2.500 a week.

"They saw in me the right person to commit murders."

When Pollaro is released from prison in January 2024, "Topolone" immediately realizes how to exploit him. He gives him a car, advances him some money, and inducts him into the criminal ranks with a specific role: pure violence. No retail dealing; Pollaro is to be the clan's enforcer, the hitman.

"Returning to my joining the panzarottari gang, I must say that the Nobiles knew my nature well and saw in me the right person to carry out murders and violent acts. In fact, Nobile Antonio, known as Topolone, told me openly that they wouldn't employ me to sell drugs, but to carry out violent acts, warning me that I could be called upon to carry out violent acts by other groups as well."

A “professional” position that was handsomely rewarded: «Noble Antonio, known as Topolone, paid me 2000-2500 euros a week, in addition to other sums of money that I needed from time to time for my personal needs or those of my family».

The dirty work consisted of straightening out those who dared to go astray: "My role in the panzarottari gang was to beat up people who didn't pay extortion money, or those who didn't pay for the drugs they purchased, or those who sold drugs under the counter without obtaining supplies from the group. I committed these violent acts about five or six times."

I read the article, and it seems like a complex and somewhat confusing story. The collaborator says he was recruited for violence, not drug dealing, but the dates don't match, the names are mixed up, there are cut parts and sentences that don't add up. It all seems like a piecemeal story, so the question remains as to whether the reports were complete or manipulated. Let's hope for clarification soon.
